以国防教育和军事体验为主题的公园坐落在南昌市青山湖游乐园旁，占地56亩，是环绕南昌市青山湖水系的几大主题公园之一。整个公园分为国防教育展馆、军事爱好者俱

【田园式外景基地】艾溪湖湿地公园
 
艾溪湖湿地公园是南昌市唯一的一块典型城市天然湿地，位于高新开发区艾溪湖东岸，占地2500余亩，北起城东一路、南至北京东路、东起长堤路、西至艾溪湖东堤，与4.5平方公里艾溪湖相邻。目前已栽种乔木5万余株，竹子4万余杆，草坪60万平方米，堆筑岛屿30余个；规划种植树木160余种，已栽种南酸枣树、苦练树、腊梅、紫荆、水杉、湿地松、小钢竹等120余个品种。
 
 
 
 
【园林式外景基地】南昌市人民公园
 
位于南昌市福州路中段南侧，东郊贤士湖旁，面积32.6公顷。是目前全市最大的公园。内中有亭廊亭榭、园中园盘景馆等，主要景点有百花山、叠石屏障。桂花草坪、芙蓉长廊、映水厅、半岛亭、松涛阁、园中国，设计布局富有江南园林特色。 园中园的兰室，朱德委员长曾四次游览过。"人民公园"、"兰室"六个刚劲有力的大字，就是朱德委员长亲手题写的。每逢节假日时，这里便人潮鼎沸，是观光客们休闲、游玩的极好去处。
